Angular session taught by senior developer Mario Schoofs
On February 15th an group of 8 of our eager developers joined us at Queaso Systems HQ to learn about Angular from our senior developer Mario Schoofs. They were in for a full day Angular workshop with plenty of practising time after the expert tutorial.
The day started with a theoretical part and a presentation on what Angular is, its history and how it evolved, the existing IDE’s, and more. Mario handled the transitions from the old AngularJS framework to Angular, the implications that open source programming brings with it, how to set up the modules, components, properties, and more.
After a lively lunch break (the office is not usually this crowded during lunch - what a great way to shake things up once in a while!) the group started building knowledge by looking at different aspects of angular (event binding, parent/child relationships between components, lifecycle hooks, pipes, and forms) through several practical exercises. Our developers slowly but surely got started on their own lines of code, always being guided and supervised by their enthusiastic teacher.
A second bootcamp on Angular will be coming up soon, which will allow our developers to explore even more aspects and principles of the Angular framework.
These bootcamps are a part of our Q4You Academy, our in-house learning programme, in which we allow our team members to learn about additional softwares, techniques or other skills they were not completely familiar with yet from each other. We believe that continuing to learn and grow our team members’ knowledge, especially by teaching each other, is one of the best ways to make sure our skill set and techniques stay up to date and keep improving all the time.
See you soon !
